Quality Assurance

The Program Manager is the quality manager for ARI contracts.  The Program Manager  focuses on quality management in all its aspects of performance including high quality staffing, responsiveness to the customer, and careful compliance with contract requirements and government reporting procedures.  ARI staff interact daily with  customers to identify and satisfy requirements.  The quality control program is integrated into ARI management processes and is designed to be a comprehensive program to both plan and deliver quality services. There are three major aspects of quality control: technical, cost, and schedule.

As directed by the government, technical deliverables and intermediate products are peer reviewed to ensure the final product will be a quality submission. Technical editing, formatting, and graphics all contribute to the usability and effectiveness of deliverables. Government review of ARI products serves as the ultimate feedback loop.

Careful monitoring of costs is an integral component of all ARI contracts. An initial budget is prepared for all new jobs and this information is used to set a baseline expenditure budget against which costs are tracked. Cost performance measurements are then monitored and reported monthly.

Time lines and suspense dates provide a basis upon which to assess schedule compliance. The initial turnaround times, prescribed by the government, are the basis for Performance Metrics. Documentation of this information is important to capture the time-phased goal and progress toward that goal. Regular interface with government staff members also provides input to schedule tracking and keeps the government apprised of expected delivery times.
